PAST EVENTS:
December 2, 2023 – The 10th Annual Sinderella’s Balll was held in memory of Sindy Weiner at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park again and raised over $128,000!! Thank you to Louis and his team once again for a spectacular turnout!
Spring 2023 -An Ergathlon Triathlon fundraiser was held by Hero Events which was created by Tom Coleman (one of our Valentine Plunge Committee members) and others from The Training Room in Avon and they have donated $3,000 to the Joan Dancy & pALS Foundation from this past fundraiser. We’d like to thank @currentrehab_performance and @thetrainingroom for their very generous donation!
Saturday, December 3, 2022 – The 9th Annual Sinderella’s Ball, held in memory of Sindy Weiner, was a huge success again this year raising over $78,000 for the Joan Dancy & pALS Foundation!! A very big thank you to Louis Weiner and his team of angels who really did a remarkable job at this year’s event held at the Stone Pony again in Asbury Park! Thank you again! We couldn’t do what we do without this kind of amazing support from all of you!!
October 2022 – “Strike Out ALS” Campaign by Saker ShopRites raised $140,000
Wednesday, September 14, 2022 – PATIO PALOOZA 2022 took place from 4-10pm at the The Wharfside Patio Bar in Point Pleasant Beach and they raised $22,500 which they donated to JOAN DANCY & pALS as we were named the lucky recipient of this year’s event!! THANK YOU SO MUCH TO EVERYONE THAT ATTENDED and to The Patio Bar for choosing our foundation as their recipient this year!

Saturday, February 1, 2020 • 14th Annual Valentine Plunge – the ultimate cold water challenge… what a monumental day it was! Raising over $330,000 to help us continue to support our ALS community. Saturday, February 2, 2019 – The 13th Annual Plunge – what a spectacular day! Amazing costumes, great music, the money raised is over $310,000 and still coming in – a great time was had by all. Saturday, December 1, 2018 – Another successful event – the 5th Annual Sinderella’s Ball at the “iconic” Stone Pony raised over $115,000 for PALS (People with ALS) in our local communities. A great, fun-filled evening with Bobby Bandiera.
February 3, 2018 – the 12th Annual Valentine Plunge just raised $286,000 and still counting!! Thanks to all who participated whether you plunged, donated or joined us as a spectator. Your support for our PALS (People with ALS) is incredible. Our heartfelt thanks go out to each of you for “jumping in and feeling the love”.
December 2, 2017 – Amazing!!! The 4th Annual Sinderella’s Ball at the world renowned Stone Pony in Asbury Park has raised $125,000 breaking all records. Our many thanks to all who supported this wonderful event!! Date for next year is Saturday, December 1st.
February 4, 2017 – 11th Annual Valentine Plunge broke all records raising over $370,000 and counting – plungers came from 21 states contributing to record attendance – many thanks to all!
